[LCBB] L-C Basketball Booster Club - 3-on-3 tournament this weekend...

This email is informational only and is NOT a call for volunteers or
donations....
 
We wanted every one to know about the club 3x3 tournament this weekend.
After some doubt about whether we'd have enough teams to hold our 3x3
tournament this year, we ended up getting 50 teams and are holding the
tournament this weekend.
 
The schedule is posted on the club website: www.spartanbb.org
 
We were able to schedule all games at the Primary school, so this will make
the running to the tournament a lot simpler than our tournaments in the past
have been.
 
We are in good shape with volunteers.  We have been reaching out to
individuals to help.  In addition, we have about 18 L-C teams playing in the
tournament and these folks will help out when they can.  However, if anyone
else has some free time on Saturday and would like to help for a couple of
hours, we certainly wouldn't turn you away.  We may need a little help in
the concession area between 11:00 and 2:30 on Saturday.  No pressure, but if
you are interested - reply back to me and we'll get you scheduled in.
 
Referees are scheduled and the high school coaches are contacting players to
work the score tables - so we are set there as well.
 
The only donations we asked for this time around is for bars or cookies.  We
wanted about 20 donations and are doing pretty well there as well - but if
you want to donate - please drop off cookies or bars at the Primary school
after 3:30 PM on Friday. 
 
Or if you just want to come out and watch - there will be plenty of young
L-C players showing off their teamwork and skills.
